KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR VISIT TO HBC
SERVICE
Every Sunday we offer Sunday School at 9:00 am and our Worship Service at 10:15 am. Our service is traditional and welcoming with praise to the Lord. We have a wonderful choir and our members enjoy familiar and uplifting hymns. Our beautiful turn of the century church is filled with stunning stained glass windows which welcome the Holy Spirit to our service. Pastor Long inspires us each Sunday with his exciting and stimulating preaching of the Word.
On Wednesdays we offer a mid-week Bible study, which takes place at 6:30 pm in the church lower level learning center.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our Adult Sunday School meets at 9:00 prior to worship in the Church Learning Center. We provide quarterly study guides of the Scripture and enjoy a sharing study of the Bible. Sunday School is led by a church elder versed in scripture studies. Our adult Sunday school meets in the main floor administrative classroom.
Youth Sunday School also meets at 9:00 with Scriptural lessons for all ages. Youth Sunday School is held in the second floor learning center. Our youth instructors provide an exciting presentation of the wonderful Bible stories and practical application for all levels.
DRESS
When you meet our church family on Sunday morning you will find a wide range of age and dress. You will find casual attire to suits and ties—everything from jeans and sports shirts to dresses and pantsuits. Maybe even the occasional bonnet! We know the Lord sees you and loves you however you are and we want to make you feel comfortable. So come as you are but please come join us!
PARKING AND ENTRANCE
We have plenty of street parking and the lots across the street from the church are open to all on Sundays and evenings. We have handicapped and wheel chair access. Our entrances are on the east and north of the building with the main entrance on the west. Ramp access is through the north entrance.
NEXT STEPS
During our services you will be encouraged to fill out one of our attendance card and leave it in the offering plate. We are thankful the Lord has led you to our sanctuary and will add you to our mailing list.
